Cambridge University Students' Union (CUSU) and St James's House recently published the Guide to Excellence catalogue. The Guide celebrates the practice of excellence around the world. The UAE Academy is proud to be selected and included into the Guide to Excellence.

Yale University MBA Student Delegation Visit to the UAE Academy

n March 20, 2013, a delegation of MBA students from Yale School of Management at Yale University led by Professor Paul Bracken visited the UAE Academy. The delegation received a warm welcome from the CEO, Dr. Abdullah Abonamah.

Research Report - Successful Integration of UAE Nationals in the Private Sector

The UAE Academy has been a leading organization in providing Emiratization programs for the UAE. PwC Mini MBA Programme

The UAE Academy is proud to collaborate with PwC's Academy on the Mini MBA Programme. The PwC’s first Mini MBA Programme will run from April 20th to June 29th 2013 at the UAE Academy campus in Abu Dhabi, with plans to expand the offering across the region. The sessions will take place over a 3 month period with over 100 classroom hours. and to  accommodate working schedules courses will be conveniently held on Saturdays   and Sunday evenings.

Joint cooperation agreement between the UAE Academy and Zayed Higher Organization

The UAE Academy, a fully owned subsidiary of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry,  has recently signed a joint cooperation agreement with Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs to benefit from the UAE Academy’s expertise in training and development and administrative counseling of cadres working in the institution or persons with disabilities in general.

UAE Students Forum in Washington

H.E. Mohamed Helal Al Muhairi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Dr. Abdullah Abonamah, Acting CEO of the UAE Academy attended the UAE Students Forum in Washington between 22-25 November, 2012. Organized by the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Washington, DC, the Forum objective is to promote communication between students and business organizations in the UAE.

UAE Academy Signs MoU with ICDL GCC Foundation

On Thursday, November 8, 2012, the UAE Academy signed a cooperative agreement to focus on IT Security and Social Media Certification with The International Computer Driving License (ICDL) GCC Foundation. The ICDL GCC Foundation is the governing body and certification authority responsible for advocating digital skills and promoting globally-recognized ICDL certification programs across the GCC and Iraq with the support of leading educational institutions and accredited bodies.

On Sunday 4th November 2012, UAE Academy held a launch of TAMKEEN program with Social Care and Minors' Affairs Foundation. The training program aims to develop the capacity and skills of the participants to achieve their various aspect of goals in life.

Ms. Khawla Al Hosani Makes UAE Academy Proud

The UAE Academy is proud to announce that one of its team, Ms Khawla Al Hosani, is one of 12 volunteers who travelled to the United States to renovate homes destroyed by a tornado in the Tuscaloosa, Alabama area. The tornado damaged homes and killed dozens of people in April 2011. The trip was organized through volunteer programs run by the Emirates Foundation for Youth Development and co-sponsored by the UAE Embassy in Washington, DC.

Technology Combined with Good Teaching Leads to Success

The UAE Academy's investment in using SMART Boards, which have been in place at its campus since 2009, has led to visible gains in student engagement and advancement. The Academy has been making full use of SMART Board interactive whiteboards for specialist training, team meetings, English-language learning, brainstorming and as substitutes for paper flipcharts.

Qualification Framework Presentation by MOHE

On Wednesday, September 26, 2012, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research held an introductory seminar to the UAE’s Qualifications Framework. The Framework has been published and disseminated by the National Qualifications’ Authority (NQA).

Keith Parker has joined UAE Academy as a Business Consultant since early September 2012. He will be working closely with all business units to support the strategic plan initiated under the leadership of Dr. Abdullah Abonamah, Acting CEO.
