IBDAA

IBDAA aims to prepare UAE nationals, who have successfully completed their higher education studies, to enter the job market as well as supply private sector companies with qualified graduates who have the right skills to meet employment requirements. IBDAA participants will receive accredited internationally recognized professional certificates that will enhance their opportunities of employment in the private sector in many fields.

The Ministry of Presidential Affairs supervises the IBDAA program in co-operation with the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce. The Ministry also co-ordinates with the private sector and plays a key role in implementing the program’s objectives.

IBDAA Program Objectives

· Support Emiratization in the private sector.

· Develop national human resources.

· Establish partnerships between the private sector and the UAE Academy.

· Provide quality training to meet employment market needs.

IBDAA Program Structure

The program lasts for 28 weeks and is completed in three phases:

Phase One:
General Courses – 8 weeks of academic training in English Language, Computer Productivity Skills, Teamwork, Presentation Skills, Customer Care, Time Management and Career Guidance. The Abu Dhabi Emiratization  Council  covers the training expenses.

Phase Two:
Specialized courses – 10 weeks of training in English Language, Business Administration, Customer Care, Sales and Marketing, International Tourism and Accounting. These courses are certified in various vocational business areas. These certificates are internationally accredited by leading European and American Institutions.

Phase Three:
Internship – 10 weeks of on the job training. This phase involves training by the employer. A monthly payment will be paid, with a final assessment based on the candidate’s job performance taking place at the end of the 10-week phase. The assessment will determine suitability and potential employment of the candidate.

IBDAA’s Admission Requirements:

Potential candidates planning to join the IBDAA program should be:

  •   UAE nationals, between the age of 21 and 30 years.
  •   Have successfully completed their higher education studies
